Wissahickon High School - Common Grant Application

This application should be used for both Wissahickon Educational Opportunities Foundation (WEOF) and Home and School Association (H&SA) grants. Upon submission, the grant application is forwarded via email to the school principal, WEOF Grants Coordinator, and H&SA Grants Coordinator. The applicant will also receive a confirmation email.

Middle & High School: If approved by the school principal, grants over $600 and/or involving technology will be forwarded to WEOF for funding consideration. Approved grants for $600 or less will be forwarded to the school’s H&SA for funding consideration.

HELPFUL HINT: It is strongly encouraged for district staff have proactive conversations with their building principals or department leaders to ensure feasibility and alignment of the grant request with the school-based and district-based goals and priorities.

Statement of Understanding

I/We understand that if this grant proposal is approved, it is required that I/we provide an evaluation of the success of the Grant to WEOF or the Home & School Association.  The evaluation is to include a written description detailing how the grant is working, an analysis of the stated outcomes and their attainment, and high definition photos/videos that showcase the grant. If necessary, contact the district’s Communications Coordinator to assist in the photo/video documentation. Grant recipients should present this evaluation to the WEOF co-presidents or a Home and School officer.
